Welcome Will!

One week ago today our adorable nephew Will was born. He is healthy, and perfect! We went up to visit Anna, Chris and Will that night. He is the best baby I've ever held! He was so calm, and just plain cute. I do not have much experience with child birth, when Addison was born it was a sweet deal. It was a scheduled c-section so we just got to show up, and there she was. This time around was not so easy (detailed birth story here .

This weekend I was lucky enough to take some preggo pictures of my sister in law Anna. She's 37 weeks, and I'm so excited for baby Will to make his appearance on July 5th! I just love taking pictures of big sister Addison, she's so funny and just loves getting her picture taken. After you take her picture she says "Addison see". She has to approve everything! I just love her! She's going to be such a great Big Sister!

Crazy Busy

Life has been so crazy the last few weeks. I started going to school at night, and I got promoted at work so I've been working a ton of hours on top of trying to study. I just finished my first class, and I've realized how easy life was as a college student. I would love to go back, but that's not going to pay the mortgage or the car payment. I miss being a kid!

Mike and Cooper got had a boys weekend at the Whitesel cabin last weekend. They went up for the annual cleanup, and I stayed behind to study for my final. They had a blast, and Cooper loved hanging out with his cousin Sammy the beagle.

Coopy is such a spoiled puppy, I'm posting a few pictures of some of his new treats he's had lately. I of course have to post a picture of Mike's pride and joy....his new beard. He is growing a beard for Matt's Bachelor party next weekend, I can hardly wait until May 10th for him to come home and shave it off!

Britney Concert!

Last night the girls and I went to the Britney concert.....it was so much fun! She has definitely made a comeback. The show was awesome, the dancing the outfits, and the energy of the crowd. It was definitely different than her last show where there were a ton of teeny boppers, it was pretty much people our age ( and a lot of prego girls). I can't wait until she comes back!! I didn't get home until 1:30, Mike made the mistake of waking up to ask me how the concert was. Little did he know that I was already wearing my $40 t-shirt and I would sing him all the songs she sang. Poor Mike, he just wanted to sleep so he could go to work this morning.

Addison turns 2!

Yesterday our niece Addison turned 2 years old! We went to her family birthday party at the Whitesel house and had macaroni & cheese, and yummy cupcakes. Addison got a ton of cool gifts, including this great kitchen. She has pots, pans, cups, utensils it's so cute!

Poor Coopy!

Poor Coopy, he was neutered on Friday and was doing ok until we noticed he was not eating at all, and he began to vomit this morning. The vet said if anything like this happens you need to bring him in. Mike took him in today, and besides the medication making him lose his appetite and to get sick, his wound was too agitated so they are making him wear a cone. Poor baby, he's so frustrated. He can't run up and down the stairs, he keeps slamming into me, can't drink, or eat. He has to do this for 10 more days, I feel so bad for him :(

Jessica and Josh are engaged! Mike and I are so thrilled for them, they are two of the kindest most generous people we know. Love you guys!

Arizona Trip/White Wedding

We just got back from a long weekend in Arizona. We went down Thursday and got to spend the evening with our dear friend Tessa Bajema. It was so much fun hanging out with her, we went out for some delicous mexican food and came back to her house to enjoy some Sprinkles cupcakes! I always love the chance to hangout with Tessa, we love the same things, reality tv, Britney Spears, and our husbands are best friends! I wish we could hang out more often.

The rest of the trip was filled with a day of Spring Training in AZ...yeah Griffey is back! Then off to Aaron and Stephanie's rehearsal dinner. It's always so much fun hanging out with the Dunbar crew, they know how to party like I've never seen. Congratulations to Aaron and Stefanie White!!

Who is the cutest puppy in Kirkland.....Cooper!

We decided to spend some quality family time in downtown Kirkland on Sunday. We went for a walk, got coffee and Cooper got to go in Lake Washington for the first time and he hated it! He was so scared of the waves and all the ducks. Mike and I miss living downtown so much! There's always so much happening.

Superbowl Sunday!

This was our first Superbowl in our house. Mike was so excited to have our friends over. He spent two weekends "cleaning" out the garage....oops I mean the "Man Cave" so the boys could hang out in there. We had a lot of people over, our house was a fire hazard but it was fun. Everyone had a great time, we used our new margarita machine, and ate a lot of junk food. Even Cooper got in on the action, he was so exhausted after everyone left.

Last week we celebrated Anna's birthday with a yummy dinner at the Whitesel house. I brought over my camera and got some adorable pictures of my nieces. This time Addison wanted in on the action, so we worked on her photography skills. She got a great picture of her Mommy!

America's Next Top Model!

For Christmas Mike got me my dream camera! I got a Nikon D60, which is very different that my point and shoot camera. I've been toying around with all the gadgets and using poor Cooper as my model. He seems to like it though, he will sit there for me. I compared it to my old camera, what a difference in clarity! I love it!

Christmas 2008

Mike and I celebrated our 2nd Christmas together as married. How our year has changed since our 1st. We bought our first home, and adopted Cooper the Pooper! We had a wonderful celebration. We started off our Christmas Eve with both families over for ham, potatoes, beans, rolls, etc. Then Christmas morning we went to my parent's home for breakfast and to open gifts, then off to the Whitesel's to open gifts and have dinner. We brought Coopy over to Gamma and Papa Whitesel's to play with the other dogs...what fun he had! He slept from 7:30pm-9:00am. He's never done that! My amazing husband got me the coolest camera for Christmas. I got Nikon D60, I am so excited to take pictures with it!

Puppy Kindergarten!

Cooper started Puppy Kindergarten last night, and is the star of the class. Though right in the middle of play time, he ran over to the corner and starting peeing, I was so embarassed! He did so good, we covered sit, lay down, spin, and some brain teasers for him. He was so exhausted, he came home and laid on the ground right at the top of the stairs and fell asleep. He slept in this morning until after 7am! He's never done that before. Mike and I are such proud puppy parents!

With the weather being so cold, I decided Cooper needed a coat like the rest of his friends in the neighborhood. Mike has been so against this, so I thought I would try to find something Mike would like. I got him a letterman's jacket with a big "W"! He loved it, Mike hated it. He's mad at me. Oh well, Coopy will be warm for the winter.

Snow Day!

Saturday when the snow started coming down I began to panic. We were getting ready to go over to Gina Sacco's house for a holiday party, I hate driving in the snow so I told Mike let's just stay for an hour. Well the party was a lot of fun, so we stayed for a long time. We got home a little after midnight. Poor Coopy was in his kennel, so we immediately took him outside to try out the snow. Mike walked him out, he paused for a moment then started going crazy. He loved the texture, and just started digging his face right in it. It was really fun, nobody was out in our neighborhood so it was just the crazy Whitesel's walking the streets in the wee hours of the morning.

Good Puppy!

Mike and I have been telling Coop that he is such a good Pup lately. We've had a few milestones this week. He finally knows his name is Cooper, and he learned to sit! We were so ecstatic! I sat with him on the kitchen floor, and used these training treats to get him to sit. Now, everytime I come into the room he sits, because he thinks he will get a treat.

We went and watched the Apple Cup today over at the Whitesel house. Cooper had so much fun playing with Addison and Sammy! It was such a great afternoon, we brought him home and he's been sleeping ever since.

Now if we could just get him potty trained.....cross your fingers.
